Service Description
A performance-focused development class for wāhine who are ready to deepen their movement practice. Through group work, storytelling, and expressive choreography, Echo nurtures confidence, connection, and the ability to be seen. Open to women of all dance backgrounds with a strong focus on intentional performance and emotional presence. A 10 week journey resulting in an incredible and intimately set showcase. This experience will push our dancers in a positive way to truly connect with oneself, with each other, and with our audience. Please feel free to reach out to the team if you have further questions. Mondays and Thursdays 6.30 - 9pm Starting Monday 14th July. Please note, specific rehearsal times TBA. Show Dates: 18th, 19th, 20th Sept. Requirements: Costume Fee or sourcing own costume TBA What is Echo? Echo is a representation of our voice and the voices of those that have impacted us , and how they ripple across time and space—through movement, music, and the stories we carry. It will blend the various styles we are known for at Summer Studios, with stunning elements of body and instrument rhythm, custom beat loops, and an immersive experience for both dancer and audience alike. this experience begins in the carpark, through a tunnel like entrance right through to the studio - ALL woven together in a show that’s both elegant and powerful.

We’re excited to have you join us at Summer Studios! To ensure a smooth experience for everyone, please take a moment to review our booking policy: Double-Check Your Booking – Before confirming your booking, please carefully review all dates and details. Once locked in, bookings are non-refundable. No Refunds – We do not offer refunds unless there is a genuine and valid reason. Any refund requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis at our discretion. Rescheduling – If you need to reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate changes, but availability is not guaranteed. Late Cancellations & No-Shows – Last-minute cancellations and no-shows may result in loss of payment, as we allocate time and resources for every booking. Photo & Video Disclaimer - Please note that photos and videos may be taken during classes for promotional purposes (social media, website, etc.). We will always be mindful and non-invasive in our approach. If you do not wish to be included, please let us know – we’ll do our best to accommodate, though it may be difficult to avoid inclusion in group settings.
